One more “Green Oscar” for Svilocell EAD

“The most green companies in Bulgaria” - 14 ranking of b2b Media, held on May 10, 2024 evaluated and awarded the best environmental projects and initiatives in the country.

The companies participated in the competition with its nominations are more than 900 as all of them have achieved “green” purposes and sustainable corporative strategies.

   The event is intended for the companies that during 2023-2024 even in the conditions of business challenges and all kind of difficulties have had green campaigns, initiatives, investments or sustainable development and self-initiated activities and causes for a healthier environment. 

   In highly contested category “Industry and production field” third place was awarded to Svilocell EAD for investments guaranteeing the complex protection of the environment and carbon emissions reduction. One of the last successfully implemented Company’s projects is the construction of Plant for utilization of waste biomass for heat and electricity generation with nominal heat capacity of inlet 43.5MW.  Svilocell EAD was awarded by Certificate for this nomination.

 Along with that many businesses, media, journalists and different organizations received “Green awards” during the event at Hilton hotel in Sofia/
