New success for Sport club Svilosa

At the National championship in athletics for 2014 held in Sliven (03 June 2014 – 04 June 2014) for men and women the competitor of Svilosa – Victor Ninov became national champion in high jump discipline (for men). With his achievement of 226 cm he won the championship categorically but also covered the normative for participation at the European championship this year.
Victor overcame at first trial 200 cm, 208, 214 and 220 cm. At 226 cm he did two failed attempts but the third trial was successful. Finally he finished the competition with two unsuccessful attempts at 232 cm and one at 235 cm.
Second was Angel Kararadev (Sliven) with achievement of 211 cm and third with 190 cm was Neven Kolev (Spartak – Pleven).
The return of Victor Ninov is more than excellent after almost one year absence due to various injuries.
