The success of the competitor of “Sports club SVILOSA” Tihomir Ivanov in his debut participation at 2016 Summer Olympic Games

This is what Tihomir Ivanov, a High Jump competitor, comments about his 10th place in the Summer Olympic Games 2016 in Rio:

"Thank you all for your support! For me it was an honor to compete at the Olympic Games and to defend the honor of Bulgaria !!!! I am glad that I managed to achieve equalized personal result of 229 cm in the qualifications and on the finals, for me it's more than good performance!

I owe big gratitude to George Getov- the man behind me through all those hours of preparation and most of all in the sector to tell me that I am ready and I can deal with each lath that we place !!!

Most of my gratitude I owe to the club, for which I compete – “Sports Club Svilosa”, Svishtov and the people behind the name of “Svilosa”. I am also thankful to the Municipality of Svishtov and mostly to Mr. Krasimir Datchev, who makes it all real and possible and thanks to his support, I always feel good, feel no lack of anything and we were able to reach this great forum prepared in this way and to present Bulgaria so worthy.
