FSC certificate issuance

Dear Partners,

We are pleased to inform you that Svilocell EAD successfully completed the FSC certification procedure. After the audit, and the findings which demonstrate that the company meets all the requirements, the certifying authority has given their explicit approval for the issuance of the FSC certificate. Formal receipt of the certificate is expected to take place between 1.12-10.12.2012.

One of our major suppliers of wood, namely the North Central Public Enterprise, Veliko Tarnovo, has also completed the certification procedure and they expect to receive their certificate at the beginning of January 2013. Thus the supply of certified timber will be secured, allowing Svilocell EAD to produce and sell on the domestic and international market pulp, bearing the logo and in full compliance with all the requirements of the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC).

This is one more step the company takes to fully meet customer requirements, corresponding with the latest standards imposed in the pulp and paper sector.
